Temporary prohibition of driving: Hilton Lane, Little Hulton Order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the length of road specified in the schedule below.

The order is required to facilitate construction of traffic of traffic calming measures. Work will commence on a phased working basis from 13 July 2009 for a period of five months until the 13 December 2009.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road (A6), Moorside Road, East Lancashire Road (A580), Newearth Road. Access for residents to be maintained where possible.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/PP/RTT/UV/300).
