HMO application
From 6 April 2006, landlords in Salford who operate Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) with:
- three or more storeys,
- five or more occupants; and which
- form two or more households
must obtain a licence from Salford City Council.
You are able to download an application pack from this page or request a paper copy from the Landlord Licensing Team, 4th Floor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Manchester, M27 5BY, call on 0161 793 3344 or email at landlord.licensing@salford.gov.uk.
The Landlord licence application form comes in five parts and each part must be completed and returned with the associated documents, before your application will be processed. If you require any assistance completing the form, you can make an appoinment with the Team by calling 0161 793 3344.
