Oasis academy: MediaCityUK
News - updated proposals February 2010
An academy has now replaced Hope High School. The academy, sponsored by Oasis Community Learning, will play a strong role in the local community and will link to other schools and colleges across Salford.
The academy is set to move into a state of the art new school to be built on the Broadway industrial site (Salford Quays). The academy is still scheduled to move into its new building in September 2011.
A joint consultation was carried out by Salford City Council and Oasis Community Learning in 2007 on the proposal to close Hope High School and open the academy.
