Chapel Street corridor

The Chapel Street Corridor stretches from Salford University along the A6 to Manchester, including the areas of Islington, Trinity and Greengate.

Key to the regeneration of the area will be to attract economic growth and to create a balanced mix of housing type and tenure with the aim of repopulating and making the area more sustainable.

We will continue to work with and develop further options to increase the level of affordable housing within the Chapel Street area, for both existing residents and to attract new residents into the area.
