Domestic abuse
You may be being abused or hurt by your partner, your in-laws or parents if you live with them, or someone else. We can help!
What is the Salford Sanctuary Scheme?
The Salford Sanctuary Scheme is a project for people who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse and are likely to become homeless because of it.
The scheme helps people to stay in their home and feel safer by adding security measures to their property.
The security measures the scheme can add to your home including:
- locks on windows and doors
- window grilles
- gates
- anti-arson letterboxes
- panic alarms
How can I contact you?
The service operates on a ‘drop in' basis so you don't need to make an appointment at first.
You can drop in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
Appointments for homelessness assessment will take place on Tuesdays between 10.00am and 4.30pm and on Thursdays between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You will be asked to provide identification, so don't forget to bring it along. We can accept the following as proof:
- a valid passport
- a driving licence
- a medical card
- a letter from your GP
Where can I get further help?
