Housing service standards

Here in Salford, we believe tenants should receive a high level of service from their housing provider, regardless of which organisation they rent their home from. That's why the council has joined forces with Salix Homes, City West Housing Trust, Great Places, Irwell Valley and Contour Housing to develop one set of housing service standards.

We have based these standards on what you told us matters to you - better customer service, tackling anti-social behaviour and improving neighbourhood pride.

Each organisation has pledged to meet the standards and will be monitored to make sure this happens. A scrutiny panel, made up from tenants and officers from housing providers will report to the Salford Strategic Housing Partnership, who will take action if the standards are not being met.
