Human Resources
The Human Resources division is part of the Customer and Support Services directorate, and is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of employment support services.
We support all the directorates within the council by providing operational advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of employment related issues, as well as providing specialist advice and services.
The division takes a lead role in dealing with the corporate aspects of recruitment, training and development, occupational health and safety and management information. All council vacancies are co-ordinated by the division, and can be applied for online.
The Human Resources division is based at Salford Civic Centre in Swinton.
Pay policy statement
In accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, the council has agreed a pay policy statement for 2012 to 2013 which is available to download.
