Completed Impact Assessments
A community impact assessment is a tool that identifies the potential impact of our work on different parts of the community. This includes thinking about:
- Disability
- Age
- Race
- Gender
- Religion and/or belief
- Sexual identity
- Narrowing the gap (tackling socio-economic inequality)
- Community cohesion
We can then take action to address any disadvantages so that our services are as accessible as possible.
New, existing and revisions to policies, strategies, procedures, projects, services and functions must be impact assessed.
It is a legal duty to publish details of community impact assessments.
