Independent living partnership board

The partnership board includes disabled people, carers and senior staff from the city council and the primary care trust (PCT). The board oversees how the council and PCT develop services for disabled people.

Through its work, the board aims to maximise independence, providing full opportunities and choice to improve quality of life and ensure that disabled people are respected and included as equals and active members of society.
