Irlam and Cadishead College

The new Irlam and Cadishead College building is now open. The new school building has been constructed adjacent to the old school and includes a wide variety of learning spaces (supported by state-of-the-art ICT provision), sports hall and gymnasium, performance hall, recording studio, spectacular atrium with innovative staircase which doubles as seating and improved playing fields which includng a floodlit all weather pitch.

Not only has this development created a school for the 21st century, helping all pupils to achieve their potential, but it is also open to the community out of school hours.

The building incorporates a neighbourhood management centre which is the base for a range of community services including: neighbourhood management, health staff, youth service, community development, sports development, arts development and the ranger service.
