Explore, Inspire, Create: Art workshops for secondary and post-16 pupils.
Building Spaces
Using Ordsall Hall and the classroom as inspiration, students explore ideas and feelings about built environments through their own experiences and those of others.
Students develop thoughts and responses to the Hall from audio, still and moving images.
Using their experiences during the workshop, imaginative and observational drawing, students design three-dimensional scenes using paper cutting and construction techniques.
- Duration: 2 hour workshop
- Cost: £50.00
Maximum of 35 students per workshop.
Forms of Fashion
An exploratory session considering the information clothes communicate about the wearer. Students are introduced to themes of structure, shape and form, status and identity through Tudor replica costume and contemporary comparison.
Using a range of media, including wire and withies, students design models of wearable sculpture to shape or adorn the body.

Maximum of 35 students per workshop.
Workshops have been designed to link in with programmes of study at all levels and can be tailored to meet the requirements of individual groups.
Diploma in Creative and Media
We can provide resources to work in partnership to deliver units of the Diploma in Creative and Media, including work related learning and live briefs.
