How long will my apprenticeship take?
Up to 16 months
What this apprenticeship includes:
- Technical Certificate in Health & Social Care Level 2.
- NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2.
- Key skills communication level 1.
- Key skills numeracy level 2.
How many other apprentices are there likely to be on my course?
There is likely to be between 10 and 15 people.
Will I be able to choose my work placement?
You will be given a choice of which area you would prefer to work in e.g. elderly clients, learning needs, GP surgeries.
What kind of employment or further training can I expect after my apprenticeship?
You will be able to become a health care assistant or care assistant once you reach 18 years of age. There is also the opportunity to progress to a level 3 qualification.
