YouthBank

YouthBank is an exciting project that engages young people in deciding how money should be spent on other young people to help support their ideas and aspirations.
YouthBank also encourages capacity building in young people who learn about the funding process by applying to YouthBank
Salford City Council has a strong commitment to encouraging participation and involving young people in local democratic processes.
YouthBank allows young representatives from across the city to make decisions about the allocation of funding to the type of initiatives that they wish to support - this in itself ensures that the Council objective has been met.
YouthBank will be administering the Youth Opportunity Funds and the Youth Capital Funds over the next two years, in addition to the funding provided by the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund
