Salford Sure Start
What is sure Start?
Sure Start is a Government programme to ensure all children under five get the best start in life. Research has shown that these first years of life are essential for a child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development by building solid foundations for their future lives.
Services across Salford working with young children and their families have come together to form Salford Sure Start.
Sure Start is the government programme to deliver the best start in life for every child. We bring together, early education, childcare, health and family support.
Our new Sure Start Children's Centres are delivering a range of accessible services for children aged 0 to 5 years and their families under one roof.
If you have questions about Salford Sure Start services or other services for children in the city, please contact Salford Family Information Service free on 0800 195 5565 or send an email to scip@salford.gov.uk.
