Great Salford Book Swap
As part of Salford’s work to support The National Year of Reading and in association with BBC RaW, we are offering free packs of books to help you start an informal book swap where you work.
You need to have a location in mind, i.e. a shelf in your office, your extended school room, your canteen or staff room, a public facing reception area etc. If you would like to arrange book swaps in other venues such as cafes, doctors or dentists, places of worship etc please contact us at wearereading@salford.gov.uk.
Assembled packs need about 2 feet of shelf space. The pack includes 10 books (from the Quick Reads series), 2 sturdy bookends, instructions for the organiser and stickers for the books.
All the organiser has to do is assemble the bookends, stick the stickers on and leave the books for people to enjoy, talk about, leave comments, swap and add more. That’s all there is to it!
Fill in the form below to claim one of 1,000 free starter packs.
Your form will be emailed to wearereading@salford.gov.uk
