Information for pupils
Building works on schools will not start for some time, so if you are currently a secondary school pupil you may have moved onto the next stage of your education or into the world of work by this time.
Our aim is to create schools that you and other pupils can be proud of – schools that are exciting to go to.
The new and refurbished schools will give pupils like you more choice of subjects and cutting edge ICT to help each of you follow your interests and reach your full potential. In September and October 2006 we visited schools to find out more about what pupils thought of our proposals and reported these views back to the people developing the programme.
In the next 12 months, schools and pupils will be involved in designing the future buildings. Further information will be provided on these webpages.
