Schools Information Management System (SIMS) training
The SIMS Training and Support Team is a dedicated unit that exists within the Salford City Council Training Unit. The unit provides standard courses as well as on site support tailored for individual school needs as and when required.
The Training Suite is situated at Moorside City Learning Centre, Swinton where there are fully equipped training rooms with modern teaching aids.
Group numbers on each course are kept small in order to facilitate personal tuition and to enable maximum hands-on utilisation.
Delegates are encouraged to develop skills at their own pace and relate them to their own work practice.
Course documentation, user guides, exercises etc. are provided and are designed not only to supplement the training, but also to act as a valuable reference on return the working environment.
