Curriculum issues
Lledr Hall is first and foremost an Outdoor Education Centre. Its two permanent members of teaching staff have an appropriate main subject Honours degree in addition to their teaching qualification.
Due to the superb location of Lledr Hall, it is possible to study a selection chosen from a wide range of Geographical, Biological and Environmental topics during your stay at the centre.
Presented at an appropriate level, whether it is KS 1-4, GCSE, A-Level, or undergraduate study, the Lledr Hall staff have the expertise to lead your pupils successfully in their selected study.
With a wide range of sites close by we can suggest an appropriate study site, or lead the investigation if you prefer.
The following list is intended to inspire, not prescribe:
Woodlands; coniferous and deciduous, upland and lowland rivers, fresh water life, pond and river conflict areas, mining, tourism, leisure, urban and settlement study, upland and lowland glaciation, footpath erosion and maintenance, land-use transects.
The centre can also provide a limited range of field study equipment to support the practical aspects of your work.
