Research into young people
During Spring / Summer 2007, two key pieces of research were undertaken with Year 7 and Year 9 pupils across the city. The research provides a wealth of information on the views and behaviours of young people, particularly in relation to physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
Full copies of both reports are available below.
Salford Community Leisure (SCL) held a presentation of the key findings from the above research on Monday 5 November. The event attracted a large number of partners from a wide range of organisations, including: Police, Fire Brigade, Salford Reds, Schools, Salford PCT, Youth Service and Neighbourhood Management amongst others. A copy of the presentation and issues discussed on the day can be found below:
The research was conducted by Knight, Kavanagh and Page (KKP), Management Consultants.
