Community Sports Development Team
A number of officers are responsible for the development and promotion of sport and physical activity within the communities of Salford. Working alongside the local community, the team provide sport and recreational activities at a local level.
The Community Sports Development team aims to:
- create high levels of community awareness of sporting opportunities available and the importance of an active lifestyle
- create opportunities for regular participation for everyone who wants to take part in sport and recreation
- coordinate the work of the voluntary sector with both the public and private sector in sport and recreation
- to develop a commnunity action plan for sport and recreation developed by the community through consultation with the community

- Mondays 8.00pm - 9.00pm:
Fit City Eccles. Cost £1.60 per session - Wednesdays 8.00pm - 9.00pm:
Worsley College. Cost £2.00 per session.
