Open water swimming information
Dates and times 2008
- Every Thursday evenings, 6:30 pm- 8:30pm.
- Starting 1 May 2008
- Full safety cover is provided.
The open water swim sessions are the perfect training session for long distance swimmers and triathletes.
All swimmers will be able to swim for 1 hour during the above time. Please do not swim longer than 1 hour, as this will allow more swimmers the opportunity to take part due to limitations on numbers for safety requirements and also stagger arrivals to avoid the large queue.
Last entry will be taken at 7:45pm
Cost for 2008
Passport holders:
- Adults £4.50
- Juniors £3.50 (Under 16)
Non passport holders:
- Adults £5.00
- Juniors £4.00 (Under 16)
To attend a swim session all swimmers must pre register on a yearly basis. The 2008 registration form is available to download below. A copy of the terms and conditions is also available to download.
All previous participants will need to re-register. Pre registration is essential. There will be no registration on Thursday evenings.
Salford Community Leisure swipe card is required. You will receive this when you register for the first time.
Replacement SCL swipe card: £2.50
