Events
We have experience in hosting many large events. Events that we have hosted range from community and corporate events through to international sporting events.
Our location close to the city ensures easy access to transport links. Being close to the community allows for an easy target audience for your event if you are opening it up to the public. Our flexible approach allows us to organise events of any length, at any time of the year.

Events that we have hosted in the past include:
- Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games Triathlon
- ITU World Cup Triathlon – annual event
- Girlguiding UK NW Regional Bell Boat Regatta
- British Open water Swimming Championships
- RYA NW Junior Single Handed Trophy 2005 & 2006
- National and World Aquathlon Championships
- Inland Waterways Narrow boat events
- Agecroft Rowing Triathlon
- Quays festival
- GMC Fire Service Dragon Boat regatta
Salford Watersports Centre and the surrounding area of the Quays has also been used for numerous television shoots by the BBC, ITV Granada and Channel M. If you are interested in using our location to host an event, or have a suggestion for an event that we could organise then give us a call to discuss your requirements.
