Homework help

If you want help to do your homework, then your local library has lots of facilities just for you.

Information books on all sorts of topics are available to borrow from all libraries. Books such as atlases, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, or the Guinness Book of Records are for reference only which means that they must stay in the library for everyone to use.

Don't forget that children's librarians and other library staff are happy to help you to find information for your homework - just ask!

A homework help club is based at Little Hulton Library and a member of staff is available to help you with your homework queries.

Computers are available in all libraries and are free to use. The only small charges we make are for printing and discs (if you need to save your work and take it home).

Before you can use a PC you will need to fill in a simple registration form and have it signed by a parent or guardian.

You can do so much more on them than typing up your homework. Practice your maths, check out the latest news or look at the sites full of information for your project. And when you've finished studying, you can simply surf the Internet, download your ringtones, listen to a story or the latest chart sounds, or play a game. Libraries are the places to go!
