Access Salford: Public and University Libraries

books and a computer mouse

Access Salford is a partnership between Salford’s Libraries and Information Service and the University of Salford The aim is to improve access to library resources for the whole Salford community by providing a more extensive and accessible library service.

One of the main features of the scheme is that it is easy to join, removing as many barriers as possible to enable participation in learning.

Members of Salford public libraries can register as a member of the University Library and receive their own membership card which will enable them to come and go as they please. Public library membership cards will be used as proof of identity
