Salford Museum and Art Gallery

The museum is an intriguing mix of Victorian and 20th century architecture.
The building incorporates Local History Library., Lark Hill Place, The LifeTimes Gallery, The Victorian Gallery and four temporary exhibition spaces.

Ordsall Hall will reopen in Spring 2011 following a major redevelopment project.
Watch this space for updates on how the work is going and more information about how the hall will look when it reopens. The Ordsall Hall learning team will also be on the road during the closure period taking the Tudors to school and other groups - details coming soon.

The busy library holds a huge collection of photographs, documents and newspapers relating to Salford's past. It is increasingly popular for family research, delving into the history of houses, school projects and community heritage in Salford.
