There's lots to take part in with Salford's Heritage Service as well as the annual programme of events and exhibitions:

Friends of Salford's Museums Association

Why not join the team of Friends who support and promote Salford's Museums? The association sponsors museum events, helps fundraise for new developments and collections. As a member you will receive invites to private views, information about forthcoming programmes and also have the opportunity to volunteer with the service.

Lifetimes Volunteers

Many people have volunteered their own memories or photographs to the LifeTimes Oral History project and have continued to proved invaluable support in other areas of the service's work. If you would like to help with our outreach events or donate your own memories of Salford please contact Salford Museum and Art Gallery, Peel Park, The Crescent, Salford M5 4WU or telephone: 0161 778 0800.

We will be running lots of new exciting workshops for young people throughout the year.
