Booking your visit
Please book by phone on 0161 778 0821 between 10am and 4.45pm Monday to Friday.
For School Visits:
You will need to provide:
- School name
- Contact name and telephone number
- The size of your group
- The time you will be arriving and departing
- Which package you require (Lark Hill Live, Time Detectives or self guide)
- If you will be bringing packed lunch
- What facilities you will be using (e.g. school room for pupils to eat their packed lunch)
Payments
Key stage 1 visits (Lark Hill Live! package) and the self-guided tours are free of charge. Key stage 2 visits (Time Detectives package) cost £1 per child (with minimum charge of £20).
Cheques should be made payable to Salford City Council and can be brought on the day. Please let us know if you require an invoice.
Confirmation of your booking
Once you have made your booking we will send you a confirmation letter and a risk assessment through the post.
Cancelling your booking
Should you need to cancel your booking, please give two weeks notice so that we can reallocate the session. For paid sessions, a £20 cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled with less than two weeks notice.
