Salford Museum and Art Gallery is located next to the University of Salford, on The Crescent (A6) in Salford.
By car: The museum is easily reached from the Greater Manchester motorway network. From the north, leave the M60 at Junction 13 (A666) or, from the south, follow the signs from the end of the M602. The museum is situated on the Crescent (A6) at the front of the University of Salford campus. Follow signs on the A6 and turn after Salford Crescent Railway station. Free parking available in front of the museum.

By bus: The following buses from Manchester, Bolton, Swinton and Eccles stop outside the museum on the Crescent (A6): 7, 8, 12, 26, 31, 32, 36, 37, 67, 68, 100, X34, X61
