Albert Park

View of Albert Park

Albert Park is an important and valued piece of open space within the Broughton area, situated off Great Cheetham Street.

Facilities at the park include:

  • An all weather pitch, which is shortly to be refurbished
  • A multiple use games area
  • A bowling green
  • An informal 5-a-side area
  • A children's play area
  • A selection of horticultural features including flower beds, rose beds and grass areas

For the more passive recreational requirements, there is seating for visitors to sit and relax and watch the world go by.

In addition to the above facilities, the Friends of Albert Park who are a commited group of local residents, are actively involved in the development of the park.
