Cadishead Park offers local residents a pleasant environment for play and relaxation as well as a variety of recreational facilities:

Salford Ranger Team

With help from the Irlam and Cadishead Community Committee Salford Ranger Team have been able to recruit a full time ranger to support local people, groups and schools to use the park to it's full potential.

Events

The Ranger will be running a series of events over the next few months. The Events Programme is updated regularly.

Cadishead Community Hall

Cadishead Community Hall lies within the heart of Cadishead Park and is a vital resource for members of the local community by volunteers. The Hall plays host to a regular morning nursery group and an evening youth group during the week as well as providing a valuable resource to other local community groups. For more information about these groups or to hire the building call 07780 555157.

Disabled access

Disabled visitors can access some areas within the park, from the main entrance on Liverpool Road.

Car parking

Free parking is available in the car park located alongside Cadishead Community Hall located off Liverpool Road.

Friends of Irlam and Cadishead Parks

If you are interested in becoming more actively involved in the future of Cadishead Park you might like to become a member of the Friends of Irlam and Cadishead Parks. The group meets regularly to plan and discuss projects and events and are always seeking new members. Please contact the Ranger for more information.

Cadishead Park play area - Have your say

It is proposed to refurbish the existing play area and develop a new a new play area for older children.

If you want to get involved with the design of the play areas why not come along to one of the drop in sessions:

  • Venue: Cadishead Hall (Cadishead Park)
  • Date: 25 and 26 June 2008
  • Time: 5-7pm

Light refreshments will also be served.
