Improvements to the Treescape of Prince’s Park
The Environmental Coordinator and Grounds Maintenance Team will be working hard to improve the environment within Prince’s Park this winter. Their plans include renovating the memorial garden and enhancing the treescape around the entrance to the park. This will include the removal of some trees to provide the space and light needed for understory planting. This work will not only improve the appearance of the main pedestrian entrance to Prince’s Park, but allow the remaining trees to flourish.
Cadishead Park Masterplan
This exciting process is currently being undertaken for Cadishead Park in order to draw up a document to guide development within an area as new information is gathered and funding secured.
The plan will reflect the desires and opinions of local residents and park users, who will be asked to participate in an intensive period of consultation on the proposals.
