Narbonne Avenue play area
Following consultation with local people the council are proposing to create a play and kickabout area at Narbonne Avenue. The equipment has been selected for use by younger children.
Two outline proposals have been produced - which one do you prefer?
Proposal one - play equipment included:
- Tropica 'Barbados' Multi-Play System
- Mystical World 'Secret Oasis' Multi-Play System
- Tea Cup Twister
- 8' High Double Arch Swing with flat seats
- 6' High Double Arch Swing with cradle Seats
- Glow Worm See-Saw
- Sit-In 'Toni Turtle' Springie
- Sit-On 'Ronnie Rabbit' Springie
Proposal two - play equipment included:
- Metro Access Swing
- Metro Active 10
- Spring Star
- Roplay O’ Tannebaum (Christmas Tree)
- VIP Swing
- Metro Play 3
- Metro Toddler Swing
Please send your comments and feedback to the address below by no later than 31 October 2007. Once the comments have been received the most popular proposal will be developed into a Sketch Scheme. This will be published on this site whilst the council seeks planning approval to proceed with developing the play area. If approval is given the new play area will be built next year.
Proposals are being developed for older children at Quaker Bridge. Other proposals being developed for younger children in Monton can be found at Shackleton Street.
