Libraries - people looking at books in the library

Salford's libraries are managed by Salford Community Leisure (SCL) on behalf of Salford City Council

Salford's libraries offer a range of services for local communities. This includes books for all ages (fiction and non-fiction), audio books, DVDs, daily newspapers and magazines.

All libraries have computers available for public use, free of charge and plenty of activities and events for children and adults take place at Salford libraries throughout the year.

If you have difficulty accessing a local library due to ill-health or disability, you can still borrow books and get information from books@home.

You can also access library services online 24 hours a day to renew your books, reserve items in stock, search the library catalogue or access reference sources.
