Eccles library has reopened as part of the new Eccles Gateway, containing a state of the art children’s library, plus a temporary adult library that will operate whilst the main existing adult library in the old Carnegie building is refurbished.

As a library member you have free access to a range of Online Reference Sources, which we subscribe to on your behalf.
Browse your library online!
With our online library service you can browse our catalogue, see which items you have on loan, and renew items that you need to borrow for a little longer - if they haven't already been reserved by another library member. You can also reserve items online!
