Brian Livesey

As driver of the Making it Better vehicle, Brian provides the extra clean up services needed for the regeneration area of Seedley and Langworthy. He works the route five days a week and is a familiar face for local residents

After 15 years in the job he has experienced all aspects of the job, some of which would be too much for the average person! He copes by "having a laugh with his mates" and can be found on the nearest golf course practising his putting.

He takes pride in the job and believes that he and fellow workers do a good job in sometimes sensitive circumstances, such as picking up dead animals - and the best is when people thank him for a job well done. "It's nice to be appreciated," he says.
