Our training courses
Our welfare rights and debt advice courses provide practical, skills-based training open to all social, health care, housing, education staff, personal advisers, advice workers and community workers.
If you are new to the benefits system, need a refresher or wish to know more about the benefits available to your particular client group then these courses are for you.
Our courses are continually updated to refelect changes to the benefits and tax credits system and and how these impact on Salford residents. This year we will be offering training on the new Employment & Support Allowance which is replacing Incapacity Benefit from 27 October 2008.
Our Urdu/Punjabi and Arabic speaking linkworker services are also offering a non-benefits related course on Islam and Muslim Life.
