Background
This half day practical workshop will focus on how you can support mental health service users to ensure they are getting the right amount of benefit. A DLA award can make a significant difference toaservice user'sincome and quality of life. It can be paid to someone whether or not they are in work, education or training, enabling people to do some of things they may have found impossible before. Yet the process of claiming DLA and maintaining that DLA entitlement can be very stressful and seen as unhelpful to the therapeutic process of recovery.
