Background
This course offers practical help for front line staff to enable resolution of basic debt problems. Ideally you should have already done the basic debt awareness course.
Aims
To enable front line staff to deal with simple debt issues
Contents
- Identify priority and non-priority debts
- Develop knowledge of payment methods for fuel, water and TV licence
- Introduce the use of the debt advice pack
- Awareness of social obligations of fuel suppliers
- Looking at social lenders within Salford Examining the county court process
Suitable for
Anyone who works with people in debt, having ideally completed the basic debt awareness course.
