Bereavement Services Public Notice Board

Topics for consultation

  1. Swinton Cemetery toilets
It is proposed to place gates on the toilets at Swinton Cemetery in an attempt to combat the frequent damage and vandalism that is occuring there.
  2. Renewal of entrance signs
The entrance signs at both cemeteries are many years old and need replacing. It is therefore proposed that these signs be replaced.

If you wish to comment on either of these topics please contact Neil Buckley at Agecroft Cemetery.

  • Peel Green: 0161 789 1901

The topics will be, or have been discussed at a Friends of the Cemeteries meeting. These meetings are open to anyone and you would be most welcome to join us.

Meetings take place every eight weeks and are normally held at the civic centre (Town Hall) in one of the committee rooms.
