TellyTalk
TellyTalk is a new way for you to get in touch with our advice team!
It allows you speak face to face via video link to an advisor about council tax, housing and council tax benefit, free school meals and report it! services.
Documents can be scanned in which can be seen in real time at the office. This means you do not have to travel to Salford Civic Centre to speak to an advisor or to provide documentation.
TellyTalk allows you -
- To have a face to face interview about your benefit claim or council tax enquiry
- To provide documentation to support your claim
- To view letters that have been issued to you and even have them printed off
- To receive a relevant form which is printed at the library (once completed by you it can be scanned back to us)
- To request council services
- To apply for free school meals
- To report it! (on a number of council services)
It is easy for you to get in touch - you only have to press one button and pick up the phone to speak to someone in the advice team. All library staff can assist you if necessary.
This service is available daily from 9am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
