Care & health
If you need some extra care and support, we have a range of services, advice and activities that can help.
Community and Social Care Awards 2008
If you have had a great service from library staff, social service staff, Salford Museum and Art Gallery, Ordsall Hall or from a neighbourhood management team or community centre, now you have the chance to say a great big thank you. We're asking members of the public to nominate staff and community activists for a prestigious community and social care award.
Use the links on the left and below to find out about services that may be available.
You can also use our online enquiry form or contact one of our social work teams.
Do not use the form in an emergency, or if you are worried that someone is in immediate danger of being abused.
There are plenty of activities and things to do across the city and we are working all the time to make it easier for you to take part. You might want to join a reading group at your local library, use the gym at a Fit City centre, become a volunteer or get invovled in your local community.
