Laundry Service
If you are an older person and you can't manage to wash your clothes at home and you can't get to the Laundrette then we may be able to help you.
You will need to contact your local social services office and a social worker will decide whether or not we can help you. If we can, we will then write to you and explain what you need to do so that your laundry can be collected and returned to your door.
We collect on Tuesdays in Salford, Pendleton, Pendlebury, Ordsall and Broughton and your laundry is returned the following Tuesday.
On Thursdays, we collect in Eccles, Swinton, and Worsley and return the laundry the following Thursday.
We do not collect incontinence laundry.
Cost
For £3.00, we will collect up to 10 items if you live alone and up to 16 items if you live as a couple (a pair of socks counts as two items).
