About us
Salford Care Training Partnership
The Community, Health and Social Care Directorate's Staff Development Section is the lead member of the Salford Care Training Partnership, which is made up of over 60 independent, voluntary and statutory organisations who have joined together to respond to 'Modernising the Social Care Workforce - the first national training strategy for England'.
As a partnership we are able to work on behalf of members to draw down funding for a range of training initiatives. We commission from independent training providers and local colleges, dependent upon them meeting a rigorous contractual process, which has been developed year on year to ensure best value and high quality training delivery.
All of the training opportunities to date have been FREE to members of the partnership.
