Health and safety - Pendleton
Venue: Pendleton College, Pendleton Business Centre
Duration: 1 day
Aims:
This is a first level course that will equip you with fundamental occupational Health & Safety knowledge and an appreciation of the essentials of good Health & Safety practice.

- Occupational health
- Accidents
- Risk assessment
- Work equipment
- Electricity and fire
- Manual handling
- COSHH
- Noise
- First aid
- Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assessment method:
Candidates will complete a multiple-choice test paper of 30 questions, externally marked by the awarding body, for which the pass mark is 66%. Alternative arrangements for testing can be discussed with the course tutor.
