Aims:
To provide basic underpinning knowledge and explore methods of practically applying the person centred approach.
Learning outcomes:
- To identify the principles of person centred thinking
- To accept the value and overall principles of person centred planning in the practice of providing good care
- To identify practical methods of applying person centred thinking with service users
- To appreciate the impact of not providing personalised care
- To increase in confidence in the application of the correct methods and principles of a person centred approach
