Duration: 1/2 day (2 1/2 hours) 09:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Aims:
To provide candidates with knowledge and understanding of what adult abuse is, how to identify it and what their responsibilities are regarding safeguarding adults.
Learning outcomes:
To provide candidates with adequate knowledge and understanding to be able:
- To raise awareness in respect of adult safeguarding concerns
- To ensure the appropriate action is taken when adult safeguarding concerns are identified
- To ensure that all people supported by Salford PCT/Salford City Council are treated in a safe and professional manner.
