Policies and procedures
The following pages offer advice and guidance for social care organisations on managing the performance of their staff, including Salford City Council policies and procedures.
Salford City Council has a full range of Human Resources/Personnel policies, procedures and guidance which they follow, and we have also provided links to other guidance provided by government, professional and social care organisations such as:
- Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS)
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
- Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR)
- Directgov
- Skills for Care
- Social Care Institute for Excellence - People management (SCIE)
Partners are encouraged to view the policies and procedures available to assist in the process of developing their own documentation, as they can be used as examples of good practice, and templates can be adapted to individual organisation’s needs.
