Rental Bond Scheme
In some areas of the city we can offer a Rental Bond if you are offered private rented property but do not have the money to pay the deposit.
The bonds are available to people in housing need in receipt of a low income or on benefits, who have found self contained private rented property, for which the landlord is willing to accept a bond and not a cash deposit.
If you need to apply for a bond, both you and the landlord need to fill in some forms. These can be obtained by telephoning 0161 793 2020.
If you want further information please email: Sadie.Webster@salford.gov.uk. If you like you can also download the Salford Rental Bond Scheme leaflet below.
