Pendleton lies at the heart of Central Salford – an area currently experiencing a range of exciting regeneration initiatives including Housing Market Renewal and New Deal for Communities. On the threshold of change, Salford City Council is in the process of concluding the production of a framework and guidance for the redevelopment of the area.
Site of the original 'Hanky Park', Pendleton was allocated resources under the governments Housing PFI programme in 2006.
