Langworthy Cornerstone
The Langworthy Cornerstone is the vibrant hub of the community and is a true partnership achievement, built using ERDF, SRB, Sure Start and PCT money. Opened by Hazel Blears MP in 2001, the building is dedicated to the people who live and work in the community. |
It delivers local health & well being to employment training. The Cornerstone serves the community from morning to night and provides both a café and a crèche. It is envisaged the buildings activities will be governed by the local community in the future.
